Philosophy

I believe each one of us has strengths and unique abilities, which may be difficult to see at times when we’re facing challenges. I firmly believe in a warm, caring, collaborative relationship with my clients. This can help foster change by enhancing insight and challenging negative thoughts and beliefs. My style is strength-based. I believe in empowering individuals by helping them get unstuck and reach their goals. By using different modalities, I can tailor treatment based upon your needs. Because each client has different experiences and backgrounds, I strive to be culturally sensitive, providing compassionate care to all.
I believe relationships are an integral part of our lives. Through relationships, we grow and learn. I believe as humans we crave attachment to significant people in our lives. While working with individuals, couples, and families, I keep those attachment needs in mind and help clients heal from attachment injuries.
